Touroparc

This is a wildlife/safari park set in 10 hectares of parkland and contains 150 different species of animals. This wonderful park incorporates a wide range of activities and attractions. Animals can be viewed in surroundings similar to their natural environment and they include Grevy zebras, lemurs, sea lions, gorillas, and members of the big cat family including tigers. The Park also boasts a hot house where visitors can learn about botany and ornithology and also a wine cellar and mineral centre to learn more about viticulture and mineralogy. There is also a lovely onsite restaurant where you can dine and enjoy the views over the park. The Park is situated in the place of ‘la Maison Blanche’, in the village of Romanèche-Thorins, between Maçon and Villefranche. It is off of the Belleville exit of the A6 when coming from Lyon and the Maçon South exit when coming from Paris.

Parc de l'Auxois

Situated in Arnay-sous-Vitteaux, this 35-hectare park provides great entertainment for the children, with animals, a swimming pool with aquatic games during the summer, a train, horseback or barouche rides, mini-golf, games area, and cafeteria.

Cardo-Land

Located in Chamoux, it is set in a vast wooded park, 7km away from Vézelay. Created by the sculptor Cardo, this park is a prehistoric world and life-size dinosaurs. It boasts a museum, grotto and exhibition alongside a construction of a 20 metre long dinosaur. There is also a picnic area and prehistoric play areas.

Stade Nautique de Decize

Situated on the bank of a lake in Decize this park offers; mini-golf, a children’s playing-ground, electric boats and pedalos are available for hire, inflatable games and video games.

Les Animaux des Petits Bois

Situated in Sagy, this ‘Animals of the woods attraction’, is a permanent exhibition of more than 150 old varieties of poultry, goats, sheep, pigs and cows.

Parc naturel de Boutissaint

Located in Saint-Fareau, this is a 400-hectare, natural wildlife reserve that is home to deer, roe, mouflons and bison. Every year on August 15th, there is a hunting show and a photo-safari organised within the park. It provides a perfect place for picnics and walks in the fresh outdoors.

Elevage de lamas et alpagas (llama and alpaca farm)

This is a fun place to take the children to see the selection of llamas and alpacas. It is a breeding and working farm with 50 animals set amongst beautiful scenery and countryside. You can have a guided tour of the farm and observe the wool spinning in the workshop. This farm is situated in Mesvres in the Saône et Loire region.

Parc touristique des Combes

Situated in Le Creusot, in the heart of the south of Burgundy, this tourist park has great rides and activities to keep the children amused all day long. Set on a 70-hectare site there is a wide-gauge railway, where you can experience trains from the past and travel a short way through the picturesque landscape. There is also a Summer Toboggan’; with a descent on a 435 metre long piste, where you can reach up to 40km/h, The ‘Déval train’, and the exciting ride of ‘The Vertingo’ and the Fossiloscope; which is an interactive scientific and multimedia exhibition.
