Dijon
Garden of Arquebuse

These botanical gardens are positioned behind and adjacent to the Natural History Museum opposite the Gare routiere and the Gare SNCF. The gardens and arboretum are scattered with paths, ponds, and streams alongside children’s play areas.

Chalon-sur-Loire
Jardin géo-botanique
These botanical gardens can be found on Place Mathias in Chalon-sur-Saone. Created in 1951 it has eight distinct kinds of plant environments: the Bresse marshland, the limestone hills of the "Côte Chalonnaise", a large rock garden, the granite landscape of the Morvan, pine groves, and the Provence-like landscaped setting of "Rocflor", all containing over 500 species and over 750 different varieties of plants.

Anglure-sous-Dun
Le Jardin du Zéphyr

The Zéphyr Gardens are located in Anglure-sous-Dun and boast a superb collection of rose varieties, both old and new, alongside a plethora of beautiful vines, pergolas, trees, shrubs and perennials.

Aze
Le Jardin du Prieuré

The Priory Garden in Aze lies adjacent to the church and has a lovely rock garden, aquatic garden, grassland and a fantastic geometric vegetable garden.

Le Parc d'Azé
Situated in the 17-hectare grounds of the Château d'Aine in Aze, these parklands are superb for picnickers and walkers. They were created during the mid-19th century and feature lovely pond, lovers' isle" and a superb collection of trees.

Chatenoy-en- Bresse

Enjoy this lovely park and its well-planned paths and circuits, situated in Chatenoy-en- Bresse. There is a public golf course, an arboretum, and the most stunning rose gardens with over 26,000 rose bushes, a football, rugby and baseball area alongside an archery practice area, picnic grounds, and a children's playground. This Park provide the perfect place for the parents to ‘chill out’ whilst the children stay entertained.

The Pézanin Arboretum houses unique conservatories full of rare species and provides superb educational walks.

Montceau-les-Mines
Parcs Maugrand et Saint-Louis
Located on an old mine shaft site, this outdoor mine shaft museum also includes a botanical garden that houses over 300 different species of plants. There are additional attractions such as a 6-hole golf course, children's playgrounds, slides, swing sets and marked walks. For the children and the young at heart there is also an animal farm with llamas, peacocks and sheep. The Saint-Louis Park is beautifully landscaped, housing a lake and waterfall and is a lovely tranquil yet fun place to visit.

Morvan National Park
This National Park covers 2304 square kilometres of beautiful, wild landscape, which includes lakes, rich farmland and dense woodland. Described as the French version of the Lake District, The National Park offers a quite and serene retreat for couples and families alike. There are an array of lakes and rivers that provide the perfect surroundings for a whole range of sports and activities. Within easy reach of many historic and picturesque towns, some of the countries best wine producing vineyards and a plethora of archaeological sites, this National Park is well worth a visit.
