Public transport

The company, Bus Verts du Calvados runs services throughout the villages of the region, such as Caen, Bayeux, Arromanches, Courseulles and Ouistreham. The bus company also runs a special D-Day line that departs daily from Caens’ Gare Routiere. Contact the tourist office or the bus company for further information (wwww.busverts14.fr).

Trains

The nearest train station is at Caen, 30km away. Gare SNCF in Caen is situated on the south side of the town across the River Orne.
