By Train
There are regular daily Eurostar services from London Waterloo and Ashford to Avignon. From Avignon the TGV run regularly to the Nice station Gare de province, situated on the North side of town. The Gare SNCF Nice-Ville, a ten-minute walk south of this, and the Gare Routiere are in close proximity to the Vieux Ville area.

By Coach
Eurolines run coaches from London Victoria to Nice. Journey time approximately 21 hours.

By Car
If you are travelling by car, there are several options. You can either take the sea crossing from Dover to Calais (sailing time between 1 – 2 hours), or the journeys of slightly longer duration, such as Poole to Cherbourg or Portsmouth to Cherbourg, Caen, Le Havre or St Malo and drive south from there.
