Pubs are popular venues for night-time entertainment, particularly amongst the young, whilst the older, more affluent visitors tend to frequent the hotels bars where they are usually entertained with singers and musicians. There are plenty of bars and discos in Vieux Nice.

Nice has its own opera house (Opéra de Nice) and theatre (Théâtre de Nice) as well as many other smaller venues for performances.
