Know Before You Go
Paris is generally milder than the UK, but is prone to the same vagaries in weather as anywhere in the south of England.
There is never a bad time to visit Paris – it is a joy whether you are wrapped up warm against the wintry winds or strolling around in short sleeves.
“Paris in August” is well known as being very much less crowded since, as creatures of habit, the Parisians tend to head for the coast at that time.
The peak times, as far as tourism goes, are spring and autumn – March-June and September-December.
