The central main shopping areas are on the rue Emile Zola, around the cathedral and in the alleyways of the old town off the pedestrianised rue Champeaux.
Troyes has some lovely speciality shops, great for picking up a few gift ideas, or with plenty to tempt you to put together a delicious picnic. Here are just a few on offer:
Escapade Gastronomique en Champagne-Ardenne - just a few steps from the Cathedral this gastronomic shop has over 300 diverse specialities from the Champagne-Ardenne region including biscuits rose from Reims, boudin-blanc from Rethel, Chaorce , the regional cheese, and foie gras Champagne style.

JP Gerard – considered to be the best bakery in the city. Over 20 different types of bread, and a great selection of cakes too.

Jean Pierre Ozeree – a speciality cheese shop where the owners are happy to explain about their cheeses and how to store and serve them.

Aux Crieurs de Vines – there are over 300 varieties of wines and champagnes on offer, including regional specials. There’s also a bar so you can try before you buy.
