Marché les Halles, a daily covered market on the corner of rue Général-de-Gaulle and rue de la République offers a fresh selection of produce, meats and baked goods from the Aube region, plus a lively outdoor flea market in the summer. The market is open Monday to Thursday 8am – 7pm with a couple of hours closure for lunch; Friday and Saturday 7am – 7pm, and, on Sundays from 9am – 12.30pm.If you’re self-catering, or putting together a picnic, for your basic goods, there’s a Monoprix supermarket at 71 rue Emile Zola (open Monday to Saturday 8.30am – 8pm).
