Getting Around - Types of Transport

There is a local bus service that stops at the Place du Groupe Lorraine (Tel: 00 44 (0)2 31 44 77 44) The company is called the Bus Verts du Clavados and tickets can be bought on the buses. Contact the Arromanches tourist office or the bus company for further information (www.busverts14.fr).

Trains

The nearest train station is at Bayeux, 10km away. Gare SNCF in Bayeux is situated on the south side of the town on the Boulevard Sadi Carnot and has connections to various towns including Paris.

Taxis

There is a taxi company with Arromanches named ‘Arromanches taxi’. Other companies from nearby towns such as Bayeux, may also be of use to you.
