Holidays and Accommodation Champagne Regions

Celebrate in style in this glorious region of France

Whether you're looking to celebrate a special occasion, wanting a relaxing weekend away in superb surroundings or you want to buy some bubbly at low prices, a short break in the Champagne region will more than satisfy.

The rolling vineyards, lush green fields and historic towns provide the perfect backdrop for a romantic break – a glass or two of the world famous bubbly will also help mark the occasion.

Choose between the famous town of Reims or the less discovered, and possibly more beautiful, Troyes. A twin-centre enables you to explore the region and sample the delights of both towns. It is also possible to combine a stay in the Champagne region with breaks in other areas of France such as the wine regions, Paris and Normandy. Use our destination guides to help you put together your individual short break or Contact Us for more ideas.

Reims

Reims

The Champagne Capital

Reims is a small but perfectly formed city with little traffic, designer boutiques, good restaurants and one of the finest cathedrals in all of France. Only the hardest of hearts could fail to be seduced by the surrounding hillsides, home to the regio's famous wine villages.

The seductive scenery, relaxed way of life and fantastic Champagne is more than enough to fill any short break but the city has more to offer including five museums.

Troyes, France

Troyes, France

The Champagne Capital

Troyes is the less discovered of the two towns but in our opinion is the more attractive. As the former capital of the region, it was a prosperous town as far back as the Middle Ages and medieval buildings and Gothic churches abound in its picturesque old town.

Visit the bustling market, the fascinating museums or stroll through the narrow cobbled streets soaking up the traditional French atmosphere. Troyes is also a great choice for shopping breaks, not only for discounted Champagne, but also for designer clothes and shoes in the nearby factory and discount shopping outlets.
